Congratulations, momma! You made it to 37 weeks! With baby’s nursery decorated and a stockpile of diapers, your due date is right around the corner. Even with all of your hard work to prepare for baby’s arrival, you may still find yourself questioning the future…

How is breastfeeding going to go for me?

How can I initiate the breast crawl?

What can I do to avoid mastitis?

When is it safe to begin sleep training?

How long should I nurse for? And should I nurse on both sides?

It can be a struggle for new and experienced moms alike to find answers to your pumping and breastfeeding questions when there are so many different methods and tips out there. How are you supposed to know what will work best for you and baby?

Your Personal Breastfeeding Specialist is the answer to all of your breastfeeding and pumping questions! Let our Certified Lactation Counselors guide you from the third trimester to 4 months postpartum on everything breastfeeding, bottle feeding, pumping, introducing solids, and weaning. We offer both virtual and in-person options so your experience can be tailored to your needs.

Before birth, you’ll meet with one of our CLCs for a 2 hour Breastfeeding Class, a 2 hour Prenatal Appointment, and a Zoom call 1 week prior to your due date to address any questions. We’ll guide you through creating a breastfeeding and pumping plan, setting up your nursing station, learning to hand express and pump prior to birth, learning to safely prepare bottles, and discussing what that first week of breastfeeding should look like.

After birth, you’ll receive a LAT assessment, regular Postnatal Mood Disorder screenings, and access to Your Personal Breastfeeding Specialist for questions and concerns via text or call up to four months. Through the first two months, you’ll have bi-weekly Zoom calls to answer infant care questions, address any breastfeeding struggles, help build or lower your milk supply, and learn to safely pump to avoid mastitis. Then, in the third month, you’ll have monthly Zoom calls to create a pumping plan for returning to work, transition to fewer nighttime feedings, and tips and tricks for safe sleep training. In the fourth month, you’ll have a Zoom call to discuss how to properly wean baby and introduce solid foods.

Contact us via call or email for a free consultation and for more details! We’re looking forward to guiding you through this special time!
