Meet Your Doulas


Amy Machado, Labor and Postpartum Doula

Amy is a mother of six and is passionate about supporting other women in having the births they dream about. She became a Doula through Childbirth International, and has been attending births professionally since 2005. Amy and her children are very involved in horseback riding, and her hobbies include gardening and maintaining her 20-acre farm, tubing down the creek with her children, and improving her Spanish.


Briana McCauley, Postpartum Doula

Briana is a Postpartum Doula trained through ProDoula, an ALPP Certified Lactation Counselor, and a Placenta Encapsulation Specialist. She is a mother of one, and her hobbies include writing, practicing yoga, and being in nature.


Cath Devine Jordan, Labor and Postpartum Doula

Cath graduated with a Health Science degree, majoring in Naturopathy in Sydney, 2005.  Since then, she has always had an interest and career in natural health and an interest in promoting Holistic living.  That focus has turned to Birth and Postpartum care as a Doula, and is trained through Birth Arts.  She's passionate about being a Doula, and about empowering families to bring their newborns into a supportive community environment.


Charity Brennan, Labor and Postpartum Doula

Charity is a Labor and Postpartum Doula specializing in unassisted home births. She provides education, continuous support and guidance, and connection to women throughout the birth and postpartum process. Her goal is to alleviate fear around pregnancy and birth, allowing for smoother and more relaxed births. She is a mother of two boys - the second of which she delivered unassisted in a birthing pool in her own home - and five fur babies. She spends her free time outdoors kayaking or hiking with her boyfriend, and her hobbies include growing herbs, and making salves, tinctures and soaps.


Elise Walkington, Labor Doula

Elise is a Labor Doula trained through DONA International, a Yoga Instructor, and a Massage Therapist. She is a mother of three who enjoys practicing and instructing yoga.


Emma Yoder, Labor Doula

Emma is a Labor Doula certified through DONA International, and a Yoga Instructor RYT-200. Her goal is to provide emotional, physical, and educational support for those transitioning into parenthood. Her long-term goal is to become an OBGYN, incorporating natural birthing techniques into the larger medical world of Obstetrics. Emma’s hobbies include practicing and instructing yoga, bringing her dog to nursing homes and hospice centers, and horseback riding.


Tracy Sensenig, Labor and Postpartum Doula

Tracy is the founder of Doulas of Berks County, and is a Labor and Postpartum Doula certified through both ProDoula and DONA International, an ALPP Certified Lactation Counselor, and a Placenta Encapsulation Specialist. She is a mother to one daughter and five fur babies. Her hobbies include gardening, hiking, and building LEGO sets with her daughter.


Trina Martin, Labor and Postpartum Doula

Trina is a mom to five amazing kids, ranging in ages from 29 to 7 years old, and Nana to four perfect grand-babies. She loves the whole process of pregnancy and birth, and never loses her awe of the miracle that happens when a woman becomes a mom, whether that be for the first time or the sixth time. She is certified through DONA International. She loves meeting new people and feels honored to be able to share their space during the precious birth and postpartum period.
